The mission of the University of Oklahoma Center for Effective Schools is to develop and facilitate high performing learning communities through the Effective Schools Process.

Who We Are!

The University of Oklahoma's Center for Effective Schools (CES) serves as a technical assistance provider. CES is one of only five nationally recognized Effective School Centers in the United States. The school improvement and professional development practices are based on the Effective School's Model, a scientifically-based school reform model based on the seven correlates of effectiveness. Our Center has successfully worked with numerous school districts in Oklahoma and across the country in improving student achievement. We are proud to announce that every school with whom we have worked made AYP and was removed from the SDE school improvement list.
