DELIVERY SYSTEMS
Administrator’s InstitutesAdministrator’s Institutes are held across the state throughout the school year. Topics include Instructional Leadership Skills, Strategic Planning, Data Disaggregation, and Motivational Techniques. Also included is the Walk Through method of teacher observation.
Content InstitutesThe Center offers a variety of content institutes (fall and spring) per school year for classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, and school administrators. Sessions showcasing effective teaching methods and best practices by classroom teachers from across the state are shared.
Regional ConsortiumsSchools are grouped in regional consortiums for specific trainings and to build positive networking opportunities for classroom teachers, paraprofessionals and administrators.
On-Site TrainingsOn site trainings are available and necessary for school improvement. Our staff works with the administrator to help develop a school improvement plan, provides one-on-one assistance to teachers, works with grade level teams for horizontal and vertical team talks, and models lessons. Trainings are provided for entire faculty and staff in: team building, test preparation, end of instruction, test disaggregation, content specific, curriculum alignment and mapping, paraprofessional and special education.
National Effective Schools ConferenceA national conference on the principles and practices of Effective Schools is held in Santa Fe, New Mexico each June. Presentations highlight the application of scientifically-based research practices which have resulted in higher achievement for all students.
